Create Clubs
- Each club you create will serve as the playlist for your group.
- Everyone in the club has the same rights
- There is no admin who has more power than the others
Add Friends
Add anyone you want to share your club with.
Connect your Spotify or Apple Music playlists
You will see songs you have in your existing Spotify/Apple Music playlists
Pick a song and choose to PLAY NOW, PLAY NEXT, or PLAY LAST
- Everyone will receive a notification about a song being added to the playlist
- The name of the person adding it will not be shown
Everyone in your club votes on the song
- You will have a certain amount of time to vote for each song that is submitted
- The songs that get the majority vote will pass and play
- The songs with the minority vote won't pass
HOW THE IDEA CAME TO LIFE
Oscar's fear of bass
As a couple, we have one major disagreement: music. Oscar adores replaying Pink Floyd or old French music, meanwhile Lucie is into electronic vibes.
During summer 2023 we went on a group trip with friends. Four of us kept wanting to blast house or techno vibes, whereas Oscar and another friend never got to play their music. It was always the same person in charge of the music – not because everyone agreed that their music is best, but because of the person's automatic instinct to be the one to play music and be in charge. I'm sure that your friend groups also have the one designated music player :D.
With this arrangement the genres of the trip were definitely techno, trance and anything with insane bass. The trip was amazing, but regarding music - two of us were not impressed that they never got to part of the decision.
A few weeks ago, we started planning trip for New Year's with the same group. When I announced this fact to Oscar, the first thing he said was: 'I can't take another week full of BOOM BOOM BOOM!' And this was not a casual reaction, his hate for constantly playing boom boom tunes is intense :D.
At this moment we were in a train and Oscar was just staring into the abyss imagining all of us in the mountains for NYE with the same type of nonstop music. Lo and behold, this was the moment the idea was born: 'I wish there was an app where you could vote on the songs so that I get to play my music, too sometimes!' We look at each other and voilááá!
As with any other project we came up with, we just decided to go for it and start!
Lo and behold, it is 3 months later and we are about to upload the app to the App Store and Play Store!
